Duratec 2.0 intermittent oil consumption. Hello everyone, I have a new to me 2005 Focus Mk2 2.0 Duratec which seems to behave quite strangely. I changed the oil and filters at 130,000 km when I bought it, and after 700 km the dipstick showed about 1/3 below max. Thinking I got an oil burner, I kept checking the oil almost daily, but the reading 7WoPLj0.
